{Echo} Week 25 - Homestead

Every autumn for the last handful of years or so... I have photographed that farm from the street, in total awe of the beauty it holds.  I'd love to explore it further and.... dare i dream? ... even own it some day. If you have 12 million lying around, gimme a buzz :)

This particular year I was blessed to observe the playful, baby horses during the magical golden hour... by far, one of the most delightful evenings I've spent this fall.

NOTE: I've really missed blogging, writing & keeping up with everyone. Bear with me as I ease my way back online and feverishly work at getting caught up. I feel badly for the emails and personal interactions I have let slide during this move. I haven't forgotten anyone, promise!

How does 'Homestead' translate in photos to you? Susan & I invite each of you to participate in the project and show us your unique vision, your voice, your echo. Get out your fancy cameras, your vintage ones, your mobile phone cams or use Photoshop to manipulate a digital montage. Whatever suits you best!

  • Go visit Susan’s Week 25 post for our other diptych.
  • Our Flickr Group for the collab. ~ Join Us! Find a partner there, read the guidelines and more!
  • Add the Echo button to your blog if you’d like! Get the code here
  • NEW! Submit it in the easy to use widget at the end of the post!

Always, Chrysti

Hi!!
Very nice photographs, thanks for sharing. I came across your website while searching if I could use expired film, I just love the natural effects.

Cheers.
